A little bit Stepford was developed as a free, easily accessible online community and resource for women Earth-wide to seek information, advice, ideas and friendships on many aspects of Home Management and Motherhood. A Little Bit Stepford refers to a notion describing a happy medium between enjoying to the full extent (of our personal choice) the liberty that many women have been able to enjoy since the truly “Stepford” era that defined much of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, such as pursuing further education, a career, etc, while still valuing or subscribing to a more traditional role including the preparation of home cooked meals for our family, growing some of our own produce, practicing home remedies, etc.

The term ‘Stepford’ is referred to with light humour only, and in no way do we advocate or support the ideas of a conformative or sub-serviant role for women. Period.
